Each year we will continue to ask members to complete a survey on current wage rates and future employment plans. A summary of the results from our supplier members is below:
- Dublin respondents account for the largest % of participants at 46%.
- 38% of respondents say their business wages account for <15% of turnover, while 21% say it accounts for 20-25% of turnover.
- 75% of respondents intend to hire full time staff in 2019, a 3% decrease from 2018.
- Wages mostly increased or remained static across all categories and regions in 2018.
- 75% of employers intend to increase wages in 2018, a 12% decrease
from 2018.
