With a 100% satisfaction rating from visitors, marking it ‘very worthwhile’ and ‘worthwhile’, exhibitors were delighted too with a 97% approval rating. The hard facts were reinforced by sentiment on the ground with an air of confidence and excitement with some excellent creativity in stand production, products and services on display.
One of the highlights of the show was the presentation of the Innovation Awards winners by Minister for Business and Employment Ged Nash at lunchtime on Sunday followed up by a gala presentation at that evening’s bumper President’s Ball by Sean Gallagher, Chairman of the judging panel. Winners included Best Home Product Danalock Bluetooth Door Lock from Dominic Fleming Electrical, Best Hardware/DIY Product Flogenic from Watersave, Best Garden Product Ronseal’s Garden Paint and Best Build Product and Overall Winner Keylite’s Futuretherm Roof Window.
The show also featured presentations from industry experts at the Information Exchange area including ones as wide ranging as visual merchandising to building a social media campaign for your store and experts included James O’Dwyer, Senior Digital Account Manager at Google and Dr. Eric Clinton, Director of DCU Centre for Family Business.
