Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, participants will:

  • Learn about the 5 stages of the Change Curve, how to cope themselves, and how to guide others along the change curve
  • As a team leader, or a team member, learn the process for leading change
  • Work through at least one actual change challenge from the group to see how the theory applies in their situation.

Team expectations for the day – what changes they are facing in their current work life. This gives context to the day.

Who Should Attend

This full-day workshop is recommended to senior managers, team leaders and business owners responsible for overseeing, managing and executing change in their organisation.

Methodology

This workshop is interactive. Participants will complete individual and group exercises to reinforce learning.

About the trainer

Dervilla O’Brien combines coaching and training expertise with more than twenty-five years of corporate experience as a member of senior management teams across a range of companies.  Dervilla was Sales Director in Irish Biscuits (Jacobs), Tayto and Golden Pages.  She has been a key negotiator with staff, customers, prospective buyers and owners.

Dervilla delivers leadership and management training to numerous organisations in the public and private sectors, large and small.  She has worked with a rage of Skillnets, including ICOS and Positive 2 Work. She is an Associate Faculty member in Dublin Business School.
