HAI Launches Pre-Budget Submission 2021
September 24, 2020UPDATE 01/10/2020: The Hardware Show has now been rescheduled to take place on Sunday the 14th and Monday the 15th of November 2021.
The main reason is that we have a duty of care to our members, exhibitors, visitors, and other stakeholders. The thinking behind this is to lessen the possible risk of a Covid impact.
By November 2021 we will be further down the road with Covid and:
- Have a better understanding of how to manage it
- Perhaps a vaccine will be available
- Another major factor is the availability of Citywest – it may again be designated as a hospital should a surge of Covid happen in the next few months.
- There are few if any large events happening between now and at least April of next year. This is also largely the case in the UK.
Our event partners Eventhaus has notified all exhibitors and are the teams at Eventhaus and Hardware Association Ireland are available to answer any queries.
Eventhaus are committed to refunding any exhibitor who requests a partial or full refund. As there have been significant costs paid out to date by Eventhaus they would encourage exhibitors to simply transfer their booking to the new dates (this is the standard practice with a reschedule). HAI also encourage exhibitors to simply sign up to the new dates. This would mean securing the same stand at the same price. For those who request a full refund they will not be able to retain their stand location and any early booking rate.
Exhibitors can make contact with Eventhaus by contacting Margaret Andreucetti at margaret@eventhaus.ie.
