Member firms showed an average 9% increase year-on-year for Q4 2018. A year-on-year rise for Q4 is apparent for all member groups, peaking in Munster. 69% of members indicate Business Profitability is higher than this time last year (up by 16.1% on average); 77% of members indicate prices charged are higher (by 3% on average).
Q2 and Q4 showed the highest levels of year-on-year growth for the sector in 2018. The monthly moving average in 2018 was positive in both Q1 and Q2. The monthly moving average for Q4 is 92%, primarily a function of the expected dip in sector revenue in December.
