May 18, 2016The first ever Tools and Hardware Request for Tender has been issued by the Office of Government Procurement.Along with other relevant bodies, Hardware Association Ireland has been involved in assisting the Office in its development of the tender.
The State spends around €9 billion on goods and services annually. This represents a very significant portion of overall spending and it is, therefore, essential that the public service achieves maximum value for money and operational efficiency in its approach to public procurement. Items included in this tender request range from spirit levels and tape measures to shovels and hammers. All Government tenders are accessible via the eTenders website. Members interested in same can register their interest and download the document by clicking here.
