Role Description
Bellota Ireland are now seeking 2 Business Development Managers to cover Munster, Connacht, Ulster, and part of Leinster. The roles are focused on driving revenue growth and expanding BELLOTA’s already presence across the Irish professional trade market.
On a day-to-day basis, the roles include:
- Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities,
- Developing and executing sales strategies, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, buying groups, trade merchants, and strategic accounts,
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Working closely with BELLOTA’s marketing, product, and operations teams to align commercial plans, support product launches, develop promotions, and ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Reporting on pipeline and performance
- Representing BELLOTA at virtual and in-person customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events across Ireland as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales and new business development, ideally in tools, construction, agriculture, gardening, builders’ merchants, trade distribution, or related industrial sectors.
- Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals in B2B or channel sales environments.
- Ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, trade merchants, buying groups, and strategic accounts.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders remotely and in person.
- Initiative-taking and organised, with the ability to work independently, travel across parts of Ireland, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving and changing environment.
- Experience collaborating with marketing and product teams on go-to-market plans, promotions, and product positioning.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software for tracking activity, forecasting, and reporting.
