New President for Hardware Association Ireland

Hardware Association Ireland (HAI) is delighted to announce Kieran Burke, Group Procurement Director, Grafton Group plc as its new President for a two-year term. Formally invested at the Association’s first Executive Committee of the year, Kieran has an exciting start with preparations for HAI’s flagship event and biggest show ever, The Hardware Show, at an advanced stage.

“The Show is unique in that it’s run by the Association on behalf of its members and both merchants and suppliers gain huge benefits from attending.” The Show, at over 3,600 sqm of space at RDS Simmonscourt, will be the largest trade show of its kind in Ireland this year.

Kieran also looks forward to continuing the work of reshaping HAI to add value to hardware retailers and builders merchants.

Kieran Burke joined the Heiton Group in 1978 and held positions in Finance, IT and Project Management. Following the acquisition of Heiton by the Grafton Group in 2005, he was appointed Commercial Director of the Grafton Merchanting business in the Republic of Ireland. In 2016, he was appointed to his current position of Group Procurement Director with responsibility across the Grafton group of companies in UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Belgium.
