- Familiarise participants with supply chain optimisation strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

- Developing a procurement strategy aligned with those overall business goals.
- Different procurement models (centralised, decentralised and hybrid) and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
3.Contract Management:

- Gain knowledge of contract negotiation, drafting, and management.
- Understand legal and compliance issues related to procurement contracts.
- Develop Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
4.Market Research:

- Importance of staying informed about market trends, pricing, and availability of products.
- Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers.
- Assessing market conditions
5.Ethics and Compliance:

About the trainer
Keith Harford’s experience extends to over 30 years’ involvement in business. Coming from a family Fishing Business, through the world of Retail, Keith was responsible for launching Ireland’s first Internet Grocery Shopping Service. Keith has also worked in the world of pharmacy, where he and his team managed up to 145 pharmacy outlets and properties.
Keith has an MBA from the University of Stirling and has associate expert professionals with whom he works on specific projects. He works with countless businesses across a number of sectors including Retail, Wholesale, Hardware and Agri sectors, along with Manufacturers/Producers too.
