To help during Covid-19, Pointy from Google are offering their service to HAI members for free. Pointy provides hardware stores with an easy way to display their in-store products on Google. This means that customers can check if the product they need is available in-store before leaving their house.
Qualifying hardware stores will be sent a free Pointy box which they plug in between their barcode scanner and POS. As products are scanned at the register, they are automatically added to a webpage called a Pointy Page along with opening hours, contact details and directions to the store.
