In November 2016, the EU Commission announced that there may be a possible revision of the Construction Products Regulation [Regulation (EU) No 305/2011] to assess how much growth and jobs in the construction sector could be increased by improving the functioning of the Internal Market for construction products, including for SMEs.
In this regard, the Commission services have recently launched an evaluation and an impact assessment to assess the performance of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and to provide an evidence-based comparison of the various options for the future, as an input for the decision to revise, not to revise or to repeal the CPR.
Details of which may be found by clicking here seeking comments by any interested party until 18 July 2017.
