Enterprise Ireland and the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation announced that the Online Retail Scheme is now open for applications from companies in the retail sector.
Launched in September 2018 the scheme is designed to support eligible retailers to develop a more competitive online offer. According to Enterprise Ireland “The purpose of this fund is to enable retailers to increase their customer base and build a more resilient business in the domestic and global marketplace both online and offline. The retail sector plays a vital role in supporting regional development and vibrant communities in every county. Therefore, at least 50% of the total number of grants awarded will be reserved for retailers with their headquarters outside of county Dublin.”
The €1.25m scheme offers support of up to €25k for applicants who want to increase their online presence, offering 50% funding to support these key areas:
